Employees and Physicians to Ride Tricycles to Raise Funds for Arthritis Foundation

Nashville, Tenn. – On Friday, May 2 from noon – 1:00 p.m., employees and physicians will race tricycles around the Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital, located at 2201 Children’s Way. This event raises money for the Vanderbilt Stallworth’s team fundraising efforts for The Arthritis Foundation’s Walk to Cure Arthritis.

“Our hospital has a long-standing commitment to community service,” says Susan Heath, CEO of Vanderbilt Stallworth. “By hosting events like this, we are able to raise awareness and funds for an important cause by having fun and bringing many groups of individuals together.”

To date, the team has raised money for the cause by hosting various events like the Tricycle Relays. In addition to their fundraising efforts, Vanderbilt Stallworth will serve as a sponsor of the walk, which will be held Saturday, May 17 at Centennial Park.
